When importing P6 xer (plan) to Pertmaster (primavera risk analysis) for risk analysis the import dialogue box appeared. Through that I fixed the problem of increase in project finishing date by selecting planning unit as hour, by avoiding rounding off. But i have still the below problem in imported schedule in pertmaster:

    1. Remaining duration it's showing is higher then plan, 1541 against 505 ( but less then project duration x 8 hr/day)
    2. Original duration is zero, 0 against 1078
    3. In my P6 schedule settings, total float = finish float, and showing zero total float for project. Whereas in Pertmaster it's showing -ive float, -667 against zero.

MyP6 plan has no -ive float and without constraints. Also in pertmaster project end date is same as P6.

    Any advise

    Thanks

WHEN YOU ARE IMPORTING TO PRA, SELECT PLANNING UNIT AS HOUR INSTEAD OF DAY. IF PROBLEM DOES NOT SOLVE, PLEASE UPLOAD YOUR P6 FILE FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION.

do you know how to stop PRA from automatically change/rounding the durations & lags?
