    Hello All,

I would like to know is there any way that I can assign a single crew to multiple activities.

Suppose for example A crew consist of 2-Labor, 1- Carpenter, 1-Foreman
and activities that need to assign this crew is as follows

    a. Concreting
    b. Forming
    c. Stell setting

how can I assign one crew to all activities ? I would like to show that a crew will perform all three activity suppose in 10 days.

Is there any way that I can do?

CREATE CIVIL CREW IN THE RESOURCE DICTIONARY. GIVE ALL THE NECESSARY DETAILS LIKE CALENDAR, PRICE/UNIT ETC.

SET THE DEFAULT UNIT / TIME IN THE DETAIL TAB AS 40h/DAY.
IN THE UNITS AND PRICES TAB CHANGE THE MAX. UNITS/TIME AS 40h/DAY.
NOW, ASSIGN THIS RESOURCE TO YOUR ACTIVITIES AND YOU WILL GET THE REQD RESULT.

    Hello Sir,

If I assign a crew as per your guidance and suppose two different activities starts at the same time then how P6 will deal with this situation. For example Activity A & B starts at same time and has original duration of 3 hrs and 4 hrs and I have assigned composite crew to both activities. How will P6 deals with this situation. Practically crew will work on Activity A for 3 hrs and after completing A the same crew will start on Activity B and finish it. Is this the logic that P6 will use ?

    Thanks for guidance.
