    Hopefully someone can help me!

I am trying to install Contract Manager V12 on my machine as a standalone. I am able to go through all the setup procedures including JBoss,SQL Express etc etc. Once completed CMDEMO/CMPROJ and EXPADMIN are shown in the SQL database.

My problem is that the icons that are generated on my desktop to open the contract manager and contract manager administration sites do not seem to work.

When I click them IE7 opens up with a http localhost/exponline.adminlogin. And error 40 happens.

I have tried to substitute localhost with my computer name, instance name, machine name all with no success.

It must be something basic I am not doing right...can anyone please help???

    Kind Regards

    David

Did you make sure the Contract Manager service is running? If so, goto services, find service, right-click and choose Restart

Also, did you try just http://localhost ? It should automatically redirect to http://localhost/exponline/logon.jps

What operating system are you using? Confirm another Web Server (such as IIS) is not running which is locking down port 80.

I did verify that Contract Manager service is running and tried http://localhost and 127.0.0.1 which had the same results.  I am using XP Pro SP3.

I did not see IIS running but I am not sure which other services running are web servers.

I ran services.msc and did not see Contract Manager service running even after I started it using start>programs>Primavera>contract manager utilities>start contract manager servcies.

Del_NC: Please let us know which version you are using. If you are not sure web services are or not running, run Setup of CM again and change port number to any other than 80 or 443, ie. use port 8085.
Stop and start CM service again. to login use http://localhost:8085/exponline/logon.jsp

    good luck

I am having a similar issue. I think ive done the install correctly on a Windows XP Home edition SP3 OS with IE 8 as the browser but everytime i launch the Contract Manager Administration link IE says it cannot display the webpage. The service is running. Any ideas?
